The Queen of Gaelic Park Contest
Held annually, at a Sunday Celtic Supper several weeks prior to St. Patrick's Day

... Each year, one special lady is chosen as the Irish Festival Queen and will reign as Queen for one full year. A Queen’s Court will also be chosen.

Both are invited to participate in the many activities that are held year round at Chicago Gaelic Park. During St. Patrick’s Week, the new Queen and her Court will be seated atop the Irish Festival Parade Float.

Ceremonies, contests, and gala festivities at this year's Irish Festival will be memorable and fun for the Queen and everyone involved.

In addition, gifts and prizes worth more than $1,000.00 will be bestowed upon the Queen. Valuable prizes will also be presented to her Court.

And again this year, Gadabout Travel [708-974-1300] has been gracious enough to provide round-trip travel to Ireland for our Queen.

All young ladies [18-26 yrs of age, single, and of Irish Heritage] are encouraged to enter the contest. The deadline for entry is typically near February 20th of each year. The Queen will then be chosen on at a Sunday Celtic Supper, several weeks prior to St. Patrick's Day. Download the flyer below for this year's specifics.
